In early July '06, Laurie, Laurie & Mike & I biked from Spray Lakes along the Goat Creek Trail to Banff. We had lunch at Bow Falls & then cycled through the golf course to the river trail which follows the Bow river. It turned out to be a terrible trail all rocks & roots. Very gnarly. My rear derailleur broke & then I busted the chain.Little Laurie & I walked back to the Banff Springs golf course clubhouse & Laurie & Mike persevered on to the Nordic Centre outside Canmore where one of our vehicles was parked.
Oh well, at least it was the bike that broke this time & not me!!!
