From the Calgary Urban Initiative website:Barely after the onsite tenants have closed down and/or moved to a different location (including the Hy’s Steakhouse), Bentall is going full-steam ahead on Jamieson Place, with demolition already underway. The tower will feature some outstanding design elements, such as a pair of LED bars that run up the facade, and stand at 38 stories (or in this case 173 meters). As well, the Plus-15 level will feature a winter garden and is named after Alice Jamieson, a Calgarian who in 1913 became the first woman appointed to any judiciary in the British Empire.
