it was hell today...

I took my mother to a shoe sale this morning. There was a line-up to get in, and then there were 2 huge lines inside that snaked all around the store to pay. My mother saved $65 on a pair of shoes. Big deal. I thought the lineups were reminiscent of how they shopped in the old Soviet Union. They had a sign on the wall saying all shoe boxes were free. Funny.
