what's the big picture?

I emailed someone I know in Seattle on Thursday morning as I hadn't heard from her since last spring. She had said then that she was thinking of moving to Oregon, so I was just wondering what was up in her life.
I didn't get an email back from her until Saturday; but on Thursday afternoon, hours after sending the email to her, I picked up my snail mail from the post box downstairs, and there was a letter from someone I know in Eugene about Breema courses for 2007. On the back of the envelope, the Seattle friend had written a little note saying hi and that she was now living with this friend in Eugene!!!

NO EXTRA

BREEMA and the NINE PRINCIPLES: NO EXTRA

We imagine ourselves to be something other than what we are. We assume we are the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, and images of the past and future, which form our imaginary identity. This identity is like a cover that prevents us from seeing things as they really are; it's a layer of "extra" that gives the illusion of separation. The principle of No Extra is an expression of our Being. In naturalness, no extra is needed.

When we place our hands on the receipient's body, or on our own body while doing Breema, when mind and feelings become available to participate in the activity of the body, we are moving in the direction of No Extra. When we are present, our Being particpates in every lean, every hold, every brush. Each movement is always brand new, in harmony with all of life.

Breema: The Art of Being Present

Moment after moment, we exist unseparated from all life. To truly know that, we need to bring body and mind together. The taste of there is a body is the beginning of Consciousness and the entrance to Unity.
Breema is about being present in life. Breema partner bodywork and Self-Breema exercises bring mind and body together, and support direct experience of the Nine Principles of Harmony.
Receiving and practicing Breema, we take step after step in the direction of greater receptivity, balance, and self-understanding.
As Breema nourishes our essence, we experience an increasingly vital relationship to ourselves and to all life.
