Bonnie, action central at In-Definite Arts
In-Definite Arts is a wonderful facility now celebrating 30 years of service to the disabled community in Calgary. My oldest sister Jane was an artist at In-Definite Arts for years. My Dad was on the Board, then my Mother was and now I am.
Our biggest issue at present is to find a new location as the landlord is not renewing the lease. Booming Calgary is a tough market to find any space in and all of it is over-priced. Downtown office space is now renting for over $50 a sq ft,but the vacancy rate is essentially zero. Presently the Society is paying $4 a sq ft. which will be impossible to find in today's market.
